Luis Ehlert


Since years Luis have been entaining his guests with exciting cooking classes. He always puts special focus on inspiring ambience inmidst the stunning nature of the hills of Sintra. A known food journalist once described his way of cooking as follows: „I never tought that Portuguese cuisine can be presented so freshly and elegantly (and I have been tasting a lot in Lisbon.).“

Luis contributed with recipes to the German cookbook „Die portugiesische Küche” edited by Kunstmann Verlag, Munique. He was responsible for the sections „New Portuguese Cooking“ and „Classics modernized“.

In 2015 he started touring Germany with cooking and wine workshops for the Portuguese wine producing region Tejo. Continuing this project in 2016, he organizes these workshops and showcases Portuguese cooking in five major German cities.

7 years ago he and his friend Mário Laginha started a small and exclusive food and jazz festival in his home village Penedo, always scheduled in June – also happening this year!

His main profession however is business and investment consultant ... (www.conlusa.pt)

Regina Ehlert


Regina grew up in Bavaria – her accent wouldn’t allow her to deny it even if she wanted – and studied business administration. More than 25 years ago she was visiting Portugal for the first time and immediately fell in love with the country and its people. She is mother of two girls who helped to improve her organizational skills and made her pressure-proof even in chaotic surroundings.

Regina is speaking German, English and Portuguese and is responsible for organization and administration in our office. She also takes care of the preparation of the work shops.
