Sons e Sabores do Penedo - Part 2

SOLD OUT ! Part 2 of Sons e Sabores do Penedo took place on June 25th. As a new feature for this year’s edition, local cooks presented their best “petiscos” and showcase what refined cuisine our village has to offer!

Together with the cooks of Penedo, we had the pleasure to present the best "petiscos" from our village. These Portuguese tapas were served with wines from the Quinta da Alorna (Tejo)!

Those were the “petiscos” from Penedo:

White wines from the Quinta da Alorna (Tejo) with:

Shot de melão (melon shot by Eva Bellas)

Ceviche de atum com hóstia de camarão (tuna ceviche with shrimp cracker by Carina Sathler)

Peixinhos da horta com remoulade (fried beans with tartare sauce by Rosa Castro)

Terrine à caçador com molho de frutos vermelhos e salada verde (hunter's terrine with red fruit and green salad by Madline Lamerton)

Rosé wines from the Quinta da Alorna (Tejo) with:

Escabeche de Pato (Duck Escabeche-style by Luis Ehlert)

Courgette recheada com tofu (Courgette stuffed with tofu by Eva Bellas)

Bolinhos de picadinho com molho de iogurte e ervinhas do Penedo (meat balls with joghurt sauce and Penedo herbs by Carina Sathler)

Red wines from the Quinta da Alorna (Tejo) with:

Bacalhau à Espírito Santo (cod fish Espirito Santo-style by Rosa Castro)

Estufadinho de Porco Preto (black porc roast by Francisca Gorjao Henriques)

and Bulgur with Cranberries and caramelized Almonds by Luis Ehlert

Dessert wine from the Quinta da Alorna (Tejo) with:
