What to do in our area? A vast leek of activities is at your disposal: cooking classes, visit to a wine producer, hiking and biking in a natural reserve, horse back riding, surfing, golf, painting... and not to forget: beautiful beaches.
Cooking classes: We offer custom-made cooking classes for groups. We regularly offer cooking classes which are open for individual booking. To get more info please contact us.
Wine producing: A 10 minutes footwalk leads you from our house to one of the most beautiful wine producing estates, o Casal de Sta. Maria. On your request we arrange a visit and wine tasting for you. Colares is one of the world’s oldest wine producing areas of Portugal.
Dining out: If you are looking for recommendations for dining out in our area you are surely in best hands with us. There are lots of cafés and restaurants close by. Tell us your preferences and we recommend the restaurant, the menu and book your table.
Hiking in the Serra de Sintra: Beautiful landscapes, hidden castles and fortresses and lush forests invite for hiking.
Horse back riding: In close reach from our house are several riding centres where you can enjoy riding the beautiful Lusitano horses.
Surf: Surf is THE sport at our beaches. There are many surfing schools at Praia Grande and Guincho for beginners and advanced surfers.
Golf: Several golf courses close by, including Penha Longa, Estoril, Oitavos.
